The issue most DIY's run into is sourcing the correct hardware but more so asking a machinist to cnc a one off template and add a taper.
Just wondering if it's possible/wher to get the machining drawings for the L400 kit.

Just had Butch at CVI install one of Jesse's 2 inch lift kits on my Jasper... they also installed some tires and rims which I purchased from Jesse.

Totally pleased with the way the van looks now and much to my surprise the van handles and corners better than before....

I only have one pic presently which I took with my iphone, I'll take more next time I'm on the mainland where my van resides...

I am in the process of giving my body a 1" lift. (yes body lifts are boring but its only 1") and I am upgrading to a Old Man Emu kit. It will give .5 inches in the rear but word on the street is that our rides as old as they are are soggy. They have sunken a good inch so with the new gear I"ll be riding 1.5 higher and for me with an extra 1" body clearance in the rear. As for the front I just crank my t bars up. Just crank them up but make sure you leave 60mm drop. The sport shocks will do a nice job of keeping things happy in the front (that's from full weight on your front end .. then you begin to jack the front end up.. you should have 60mm of lifting before your tire lifts off the ground) no less. Then with larger tires from the body clearance it will look like a whole lot more but feel stable and like a whole lot less.

ARB dealer I spoke to said he had this kit on his Paj fleet truck when in Australia and he said it was awesome. OME60040 front shocks OME60041 rear and OME2910 coil springs.
You wont need to get new tbars unless you sport a big front bumper and winch. I'll let you know how it plays out. Just waiting on a bushing kit from Russia. I don't want to pull things apart twice.

PS this was cheaper from the states. $99.00 for each shock and $160 for the rear coil set of 2. Here you will pay $149 for each shock at Cap It and $129 at NSOR.

Hi Larry, yes it is. Same kit Jamie has on his rig.

The leveling spacers are there if you want a little extra height gain on the rear end of an L400. Uprated springs are a better long term solution unless you like what you have but just need that little boost. Or if one spring is sagging a little more than the other causing sideways lean. Almost all aftermarket (ARB,OME..) have leveling spacers for these reasons.

Cheers

Great doing business with Jesse as well. I totally recommend his kit.
You're welcome Luis. Nice to see part of the install process.

I got the kit from Jessie about a month ago and finally got the installation complete yesterday. The extra space, especially on the back, prevents a lot of bottom out cases when loaded and in general does seem to make it ride better. The first real test will be next weekend heading to Friendly Lake.
Thanks for the kit and the installation assistance Jessie.

I thought an update on the lift was in order now that I've had it for a couple months and given it a few good tests. I find the best part is the much firmer ride especially in the rear. I think the additional length of the shackles changes the geometry enough that the heavier springs com into play much sooner. This is noticeable as from little weight to adding all my camping paraphernalia the rear drops only slightly. This makes a real difference when traveling back roads as I rarely bottom out and even if I do it's gentle.

The main gain in the front is that those annoying thumps from crack seal on the highway is now only a small bump, barely noticeable if the stereo is turned up .

Great kit and easy install as I said before even without the height benefit.
( The bigger tires will come in time Jamie once I figure out how to get into a 6' 11” garage with the tires I have. I remember from your experience which tires not to get with the wheels I have.)
