Have you check out the Taiwan MSN Delica users group?

There's many pictures of there intercooler installs to found, they make it look very simple - if you can bend and weld pipe that is.

Of the many intercooler installs on those pages mentioned, this is my favorite IC mount. Could this be trusted to say put for 80km/h BC logging road running??

I think that the location of the intercooler is fine. If you have a skid plate, the chance of having a rock hit your rad is like trying to hit high glove side on Luongo.

it took a massive amount of work to get this high, but after working out a few bugs, well worth it.took care of the driveshaft angle problem tonight. after reading doc savages post, for the 20th time, noticed he spaced the transfercase down. i added 1'' blocks above the mount, no vibes now.(nice job on your van,and thanks for posting this bit of info).

Looks Good GaryO,

Can't wait till I can put some real tires on mine again. I still think that size does matter. How is the angle on you ball joint spacers? I look at my kit and that looks like the hardest part to fabricate, but Josh and I will try it. Have you done anything for the front - I really recommend torsion bars. I have to remember to measure them so people can source better ones that stock.

Here is a picture of mine in relation to Josh's - same tires, stock vs lift:

I think it's more the mounting hardware then anything, looks like it could easily flop around.

hey doc. your van looks even better in the last pic. i've made 5 different larger balljoint spacers, and tommorow, i'me planning to build the 6th and hopefully final version. the last version goes under the upper balljoint, instead of on top.should be stronger than the 3 long 10 mm mount bolts. the next version will still be all tig welded steel, but with a stight tweek. i know welding sounds scary, but i used to tig for a living.i built a couple versions that looked like yours, but couldn't make them work perfectly.it always looked like the balljoint was rolled over too much. totally interested in heavier torsion bars, and maybe air bags out back. planning to haul my cr 500 motard on the back. cheers, gary
