Sometimes I seem to overlook the the simple way of doing things. For example, I was considering how I could replace my old ratty curtains with something fresh & new. I have a bed in the back of my '93 L300, so it's really for privacy more than anything else. Then it hit me, Why not tint the windows?? So that's what I did. $300 bucks Canadian, and not only is it great for the privacy, it looks good too. Plus it keeps the inside cooler in the summer months. I have a curtain that snaps in the front like what was used on the old Westfalia's, and it all works perfectly.
And that's the end of this story:)

Hey Alex,
I had it done professionally. It was only $300 bucks and the difference is amazing. I bought a used set of curtains when I bought my van seven years ago. But they don't really provide decent privacy, and you can't clean them easily. I wished I had tinted my windows when I bought my van. Well worth the $$$.
Cheers,
Phil
