Dude, that first one is AWESOME! Such amazing skills those guys have.
Back in '85 I had an '84 Yamaha FJ1100 which at the time was arguably the fastest bike "out of the box", you could buy. The bike mags said it would do 145 mph. I took mine out on the highway from Hope to Spence's Bridge one time & wound it up to about 130 indicated. What a rush! Scared the crap outa' me too!
Anyway, those guys in the vid are going at insane speeds and living to tell.

I noticed coming out of one corner in the race (3:42) there is a bike helmet sitting ominously on the wall, along with other items.

The history of the Tourist Trophy Race goes back to 1907, Wikipedia has an interesting article on it.
