I was reviewing my friends list the other day and realized 2 things:
1: A lot of the friends don't appear to be active anymore.

2: I joined in Nov. 2008 and always thought it was 2009. I guess I've had my van for 11 years not 10 as I thought.

It made me curious how may of the ' initial members ' are still active. I know some of the admin group are but what about guys like Jesse F or Delicat? Do they ever stop by for a look? I PM'd marameisto the other day to see if he would attend an interior meet if we ever have another and he actually returned my PM. Turns out he's moved to the east coast. Who knew?

I noticed we've reached 9700 members but how many are active?

Let's find out how may 10+ year members still use the site!!

Hi Larry,

I know the Delica.ca creator Mark still posts! Wonder also where these guys are? JesseF took a little unnecessary abuse here and stop contributing, which is always a shame when an active contributor is done with a forum. I live in Courtenay now and likely forever. Was certain this summer I saw Adrock at the grocery store, though it may have been Fannybaydelica, it's been many many years. My Ex wife is amongst the first year members, but we won't talk about that. Another example, how's Green1 nowadays? Once upon a time knew our first year members in person!

Met some great people here.

No Delica in my life, but I am shopping for a new to me offroad vehicle; we hike and explore the back country weekly if all goes well, and poor little escape just doesn't cut it. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ILcvj ... 08-h381-no

We do a lot of biking than hiking, here parked just above the bike in the foreground, climbed up to Castle Craig and then to Albert Edward in a nice day hike, skipping the 13 kms in from Mt Washington Park. We climbed 3 peaks that hot August day, and I for the first time wished I had 4 wheels waiting for me instead of 2.

Hi all;

I am still around and still have my L400 LWB as my primary vehicle, except when riding a motorcycle is appropriate. Due to a site screwup a while back, I had to re-sign up as a member (hence the 2 at the end of my handle). Too bad I couldn't re activate my old account.
I originally joined in May of 2009 so I'm a 10+ year member; however (in)active; it fluctuates.
I have retired and moved to the BC interior since joining. The Deli still runs fine but things are degenerating (no no, on the van!) I've had multiple caliper, exhaust, injector and other relatively minor problems. Currently I am awaiting window motor and sliding door parts from a parts van in Alberta. I have put about 120K kms on it since I got it including camping in Mexico.

I still remember showing up at Ikea with the first L400 many folks had seen...

I will probably keep it until I get a CyberVan (or croak).

Delicat is still alive!

I don't really visit anymore but still love the Delica. It's just that I've graduated to a larger unit ;)

Not sure my pictures uploads but I now drive a 4x4 camperized ambulance. I still hang out with Delica owners though ;)

If you see this thing driving around, it is what Delicat has become :)

Hiya! I defininely am more of a lurker than poster. I joined the forum back in 2007, bought a SWB L400 in 2011 maybe 2012 off of another manitoba member and have just been enjoying that JDM van life. I find when diagnosing I am looking more to the UK or aussie site as they seem to be waaay more active and do much more backyard mechanical. I still will pop in here to see what others are up to pretty often.

I joined in '08. I keep checking in but I haven't been too active. I had an L300 for 10 years until I crashed it in October. Just bought an L400 jasper. I've gone from 375 000 on the odometer to 53 000! I'll probably be a little more active as I get this van going.

That's one hell of a rig, Delicat. I'll wave you down if I see you!
