There is a short bit on an older show (not top gear) where Clarkson is driving a L400 and goes on about how it sucks - even with the multi-windowed power roof bits and all.

That's because he was wishing he'd tested the L300 instead.

I remember them giving the Pajero a favourable review, mid-70s show.
