Okay, not exactly on the web, but it was on TV.
Had to chuckle this week. I was watching an episode of "The Unit", where team members are in Marseille France. Bad guys pull up in a beige Delica (low roof, LHD, 4-quad headlights) delivery van. The shooting starts.
An hour later, I'm watching a rerun of Law & Order, and there is a beige low roof, LHD 4-quad headlight delivery van in the opening scene.
It's gotta be the exact same one. How many Delicas can there be in Hollywood?

It is probably the van that Mitsubishi sold in the states 88-90 I think are the model years, maybe 86-90. They are identical, just 2wd, gas and the ugliest colour options imaginable. If my deli gets written off for whatever reason I am going to buy one of them (dirt cheap but rare) and put my deli parts in it so I will have a LHD deli and ICBC will stop squawking.

Re: Delica spotted on TV shows
I have stacks of Australian TV shows on DVD, and commercial L300s are a common sight. In one episode of Stingers the bad guys carjacked an L300 and we got to see one up close. Haven't noticed any actual Delicas, though they are popular in Australia.
It's not just Delicas; I've seen Kei vehicles, mainly pickups, in many productions. You know you're in trouble when you start paying attention to the vehicles in the background in street scenes.

While not a Delica, there was a dark blue Suzuki Every van as the "chinese" transporation in last Friday's episode of jPod.

Well, there's also that exotic sports car -- 3 seater, driver sits in the centre, passengers sit side-by-side behind. Can't think of name. Probably not wanted by ICBC 'cause it ain't LHDsasquatch-hunter wrote:RHD, LHD....they should just make cars with center steering.....like my other car.......wait, does a 1:16 model count?
