Your centrifuge should seperate the oil and fat regardless of hot or cold. You just can't visually tell the difference once it's heated. If you have fatty oil, draining the centrifuge into a seperate container and letting it cool will show you the fat. You should probably be doing this anyways to keep any moisture out of the finished oil. I have a grease car kit on my l400, and run it on hard lard during the summer (from my chip truck) and it likes it. It's a carnivore.
