Lordco tells me that the ph 6355 filter will sort me out on the l300 any thoughts?

Why not just buy genuine Japanese? Lots of people sell them around you...Mardy in Richmond sells them for $18 I think.

FRAM is a well marketed product. If you search on this forum the best filters are Donaldson / Baldwin / WICK.
Donaldson part # ( I would double check)

L300 engine oil capacity is 6.2 liter
L400 engine oil capacity is 8 liter

For my 94 SWB L400...
I just bought a Donaldson P-Series Lube Filter
P502008. from NAPA here in Coquitlam last week for 19.00 plus HST. Donaldson filters are top level ( Preferred Customer)
filters (better than OEM filters). You can order it from any NAPA outlet.
