Tree fell on my Toyota Van

Post by vanalogs »

A tree fell on my 87 LE Toyota Van and Im bummed bent my whole frame and took the body down to the tires. My van was so rad, of course this happens right after I fixed everything! I have had the Delica on my mind for quite some time. Maybe this ordeal was a blessing in disguise and maybe not. The insurance situation hasn't panned out yet. Anyway Im going to need to get myself into a new van. I am in the US and I understand I need a 1990 or older van. I know most everyone is Canadian on this forum and mot many of you have to deal with this issue but is there any other fees or import taxes I should be aware of? Been looking on the forum but the descriptions are pretty vague of how the process works. My plan is to find a pre 1990 Delica fly up and drive it down back into the US. Just wondering if anyone has words of wisdom. Thanks!

In case of very bad wheather: I plan-thing about parking my véhicules away from huge trees....You are Zen: Yes, it can be a God-Haven sign for you to get a Delica :o

There is a growing number of USA Delica owner I think. A few of them actived recently  Here a a few posts:

If the links do not work: copy the body (text) of the titre-message into the Delica forum search engine, it should show. :o
