Ok, so I want to go to Japan for among other things to shop for and possibly import a Space Star van and possibly a couple of grey bikes into canada. Have talked to customs and transport Canada and have a loose idea of some necessary items. It would really be helpful if anyone has done this and is willing to share experiences and advice with respect to where to shop near tokyo or narita, shipping, paperwork etc. any info would be helpful.

Terry, the L300 is the Starwagon and the L400 is the Space Gear.
I have moved this post into "Import, Inspection & Registration" where you will get a better response. It's also a good forum to do research in regarding this topic... smiles.

Hey, I have the same plan as you, go to Japan, enjoy some Sushi and some of the Tokyo nightlight life and do as most east Asian countries to, face to face dealings over a beer.
Interested in your trip.
