We got ours the day before Halloween (note date) - my Hunny wanted to call it "Casper" but I never really liked the cartoon. Then came a character from one of our fave animations (Wallace and Gromit) - Shaun the Sheep - The Deli is white and black and will hopefully will get us out of trouble just like said character - Van Ramen???
Break those words down and it sums things up...
Shaun is a Van that will drive us to Ramen-Ya.

The Sapporo Can - it's all silver and Japanese, and it was until recently, the biggest and best structurally engineered all steel can for beer. It's now smaller and aluminum! You could have built a house with the old cans!

Jos-eh - The main purpose for buying the vehicle is for a road-trip from Canada to Mexico and it seemed fitting.

We refer to ours as "The Derilictica".

My friends like to say "why don't you Derilictica you own balls"

Really stupid and probably a little bit inappropriate, but "The Derilictica" is the name now.

It stems from the joke (and I continue this inappropriate chain of comments) "A Mexican guy has 2 penises and he decides to name them, what does he call them?" "He calls the first one Jose, and the second one Hose B" This was the joke that came into my head while driving the vehicle for the first time and thinking about my trip, it seemed fitting. :-D

My first L300 was named 'Big blue', second L300 my boy started calling 'leaf' because it's green, and I suppose that could also be 'Leif' as in 'Leif Ericson' the Norse explorer.
I've named my new L400 'Chinook', after the first-nations word meaning 'snow-eater'. :-D

"Chester the molester" got its name from a group of friends thinking that I would buy bulk candy and snatch up little kids... I can assure you that this is not the case, I wouldn't waste money on candy.

Mine has since changed to "Hermione" and I have a feeling this one will stick. There were too many issues regarding race to attempt to drive a vehicle with Jos-eh written on the back on a North America road trip. This name comes from an inside joke and due to the nature of said joke I will refrain from explaining to any apart from my close friends / drivers. 8-)
