WVO Delica for sale on Craigslist...

I haven't seen it advertised here but always interesting to find a converted WVO Delica for sale.

Hey,
I have seen this one a couple of times in my semi-relentless internet quest for flares and a spoiler.
I believe that one was converted by BCdelica. It needs a bit of love but sounds good.
It is sitting up at Glen's at Coombs Country Auto.
I was going to go give it a boo this week.

Nice lady owns it,just not the right vehicle for her I guess.
She said its got a cracked windshield, and that Glen quoted her a couple grand to tiddle it up.
Based on what I have heard of Glen that would probably make it a pretty solid runner.

Maybe BDelica could post what he knows about this one.

I will post anything worthy of mention if it is still there when I go up this week.

I will learn how to post pictures one of these days.
Pics would probably help it her sel it,I would think.
Should be nice being Super Exceed and all.

Sounds like my old Delica and do know it has been spotted at CCAutos; have talked to Glen also. Would appear that when I had my tensioner and balance belts changed when I purchased that Delica, the tensioners I provided the shop weren’t used. Never did see them again though, and by coincidence there was two Pajeros in for cylinder head replacement in the shop.. Glen sent me pictures of one old looking tensioner when in for recent repairs after the balance belt failed. This experience happened later again at the same shop; drove home after paying for brakes all round (plus wheel bearings) and discovered later that day that the pads and shoes were still in the van. Other people have also experienced similar disappointments from this shop, including other Powell River Delica’s.

Cracked window? How can that happen after driving 5000 – 7500 km’s a month (oh, such good times/good road trips) with a huge amount of that back roads, for 3-4 months over the last two years of truly beautiful BC experiences. After the first summer with that van had to have over a dozen stars on the front screen filled, and sold it with a crack on the front window.

I’d still want that Delica over all others truthful, knowing that after some need work would provide me with many more happy travels.

Oceanfrontmom is great, and I believe she'd would keep her if there was a Courtney/Comox WVO coop.
