I've been on many phpbb sites and many have been programmed to open the links in a new tab
I think it would be better.

Good idea! I habitually middle-click on any links so hadn't noticed this site's default behaviour, but I'll bring it up with teh admin.

Good question... It used to open a new tab, then two things happened at the same time: 1/ We rebuilt the platform of DC; 2/ I got a new browser. I'm not sure if it's the site that determines whether a link opens in a different window or if it's the browser that determines it. I'm going to ask Mark on that one and check my browser settings.

Spoke with Mark. He's getting onto it and should have it resolved by the end of this week, schedule permitting.

Oops, did I say "end of this week"? What I really meant to say was before the end of this season (or the next ice age, which ever comes first).
