Acronyms
Is there a place for a listing of Delica commonly used acronyms?
Example:
EGT =
ECU =
WVO =
LSD =
etc.
It would helpfull in many ways I think. Maybe arrange them alphabetically and place them in Wiki?

Re: Acronyms
it would be helpful too if the built in search engine would search for them

Re: Acronyms
How about we pay someone to embed a google search box onto the website, I will donate $20 'cause this sorry excuse for a search engine that is on here now just pisses me off to no end. What also really pisses me off is that I never remember the syntax to use the google site lol!

Re: Acronyms
I think there should be a setting in the software to index 3 letter words, it might be worth changing it...

Re: Acronyms
Hmm... I'll need to look into this further (evidently this is an emotional issue for some!)
Currently site is set up to index terms of 3 characters or more. However, I notice that a search for "LSD" yields no results, whereas a search for "LSD*" (the "*" being a wildcard character) yields results.
A simple workaround of course would be to use google (search for "+site:delica.ca +LSD") -- however Google will only index a subset of pages and so I'd prefer to tweek the built-in search engine...

Re: Acronyms
Are you sure it's "3 characters or more" and not "more than 3 characters"?Currently site is set up to index terms of 3 characters or more.

Re: Acronyms
should probably add:
CVSE=Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement (BC)
ICBC=Insurance Corporation of British Columbia
CBSA=Canadian Border Services Agency
TC=Transport Canada
CMVSS=Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards
FMVSS=Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (US)
OOP=Out Of Province (Inspection)
JDM=Japanese Domestic Market
CDM=Canadian Domestic Market
USDM=United States Domestic Market
NADM=North American Domestic Market
RHD=Right Hand Drive
LHD=Left Hand Drive
UNECE (often shortened to ECE or "E-Code")=United Nations Economic Commission for Europe
AS=American Standard (glass ratings)
DOT=Department Of Transport (US)
NHTSA=National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (US)
PLPD=Public Liability and Property Damage (insurance)
SAAQ=Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (QC equivalent of ICBC)
I know most of these are second nature to many people on here by now, but I bet most people just starting to investigate Delica ownership have never heard most of these terms... I know when I first heard about delicas I sure didn't know what most of these were!

Re: Acronyms
Is that generally on the auction-house sheets? No-one seems familiar with this one. I added it just the same...Kei King wrote:CLR: Crystal Lite Roof
