Delica Canada | Mitsubishi Van Club

1st 2016 Lower mainland Delica and RHD 4X4 Meet 10:00 Saturday March 5th at the Coquitlam Ikea on the Lougheed Hwy.

Delica.ca used to have numerous Delica meets but support seems to have fallen off in 2015, so lets have another meet. It's a new year. There's many new owners and of course the old group too.

This is open to all the other RHD and 4X4 enthusiasts/clubs as well.

I'm open to suggestions as to what else we can do to attract people and their 4X4s. We already have a good location, shopping, food and us. Fingers crossed for good weather.

Sponsors with door prizes are invited too! If you can't be there your door prizes are still welcome, I'll give it away.

Local shops with a "Latest new Delica or (?)" are invited to show off their wares. PM me if you like. Come show off your vehicle, your body , your wife and bring your kids too. Show us "unique"!

Once you've viewed this post it falls into active topics so I'll keep bumping it back as we get closer to "The Meet."

About time we have a meet up!

if I ever get my van back from the shop... going on 4 weeks for a windshield install....

as for getting more people... well... we own 4x4 off road vehicles... why do we always meet at the most mundane of locations in the middle of suburbia?

Just back in town but wanting to know how many will show up for the meet???? My Haida Gwaii trip was 4 days late returning due to high winds . I can postpone the meet till the weather improves if turnout is a problem.

Well, in a word ~ no ~ we can't go back in time. Not unless of course, if you have an Omega 13 device.

I suspect we should start a new thread, sometime soon. let's do it on a Thursday evening. Why don't we try a new venue, perhaps a Canadian Tire car lot with a Tim Horton's or some other food joint near by. There's a Canadian Tire in North Van with a Tim Horton's and a Rotten Ronny's, just west of the north anchor of the Second Narrows Bridge (Iron Workers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing). Let's meet some place like that, compare Delica notes and plan for a big picnic somewhere. We did that at Queen's Park in New Westminster one time, that was pretty fun.
