Alright, I think this link should work to a map. I put markers on the map where to turn. There are two ways to get here.

Option 1, is shorter and avoids Williams Lake, but requires travel on rough gravel roads where logging trucks may be present during weekdays. For this option turn onto the Enterprise Road from Highway 97 - it has no signage except right at the turnoff. There is a short paved section and a few houses, then it crosses a set of train tracks and a cattle guard then turns to gravel. Follow this road for about 9 kms then turn right onto the gravel portion of Chimney Lake Road. The gravel road winds through some fields, trees, and wetlands. It becomes paved at the end of Chimney Lake and my house is about 5 km from there. Make sure to stock up in 100 Mile House!!!

Option 2 allows you to get supplies in Williams Lake before coming out. At the only major intersection on the highway in Williams Lake turn left onto Hwy 20 (lots of signs). Proceed up the hill past the mill and Golf Course then turn Left onto Dog Creek Road - there is an overhead sign. Dog Creek Road winds up a hill past a Mohawk station (the last chance for fuel and beer before my house) it then drops down a steep hill on the other side. At the bottom of the hill turn left onto Chimney Lake Road - start slowing down early. Follow Chimney Lake Road for about 20 km, go past the fire hall and campground. There is a paved side road called Aspen Place and just 30 m or less past that is my driveway. There are two drives - take the one with the green gate.

I will post the MitsuCanada Logo with arrows near the major turns (not huge ones so keep your eyes peeled)

Well I must in a very disappointed and pride hurt way inform you that I won't be able to make it to the meet.

I have developed some rather bizzare and troubling engine troubles ( see post here:viewtopic.php?f=6&t=865)

It would have been great to meet you guys but unless I can figure this out soon I am stuck here. Any thoughts on my symptoms would be great.

Alright,

Things are falling into place nicely. The weather looks fabulous for the weekend. Josh has his kit. And summer is finally in full swing. Look forward to seeing everyone on Friday or Saturday. There may be a couple of non-Deli drivers come by and observe the WVO install on Saturday, and maybe a few join us on the play day.

Drive carefully everyone.

The Cariboo Delifest was attended by Josh, BCDelica, Gondaff, Asorenson, and myself. Saturday we started on Josh's WVO install at about 2 pm and worked till 10 pm, using that term loosely, and had the filter, 3 port valves and a couple of hoses run by late Saturday. With only Josh working steady and the rest of us drinking beer, swimming, playing bocce and loving the sunshine things proceeded slowly. Saturday night the sauna was running full heat and a few hardy souls sweated and swam.

On Sunday we started up again on the van around 10 am. We didn't actually go out to play as everyone was just loving sitting back and soaking up the rays. By noon the lake jumps were set up on the neighbours dock and Gondaff provided entertainment with three spectacular launches. The last one was a near pain experience as he took a shaky line but pulled it out riding the front wheel down the edge of dock ramp and just making the kicker (unfortunately the camera was not
around).

As the time neared 6 pm the van was still not running (poor Rose, was getting nervous) but we were starting to get close. Purged the lines, but found out the valves were not correctly labelled in the instructions. Reconnect the hoses right, pull out all the air, curse swear, do a sacrifice and with a turn of the key the van was fully functional and on the road at 10:00 pm Sunday.

Thanks to everyone who came out. I hope somebody else has some pictures, because I didn't get any, except for Josh to post on the install. Josh and Kevin won't be home till the weekend so there reports will be later.

Here is a few pics... James has the only ones to do with the install... so we will wait a bit and hopefully have them up in a bit. I must say to anyone though, the WVO install is not nearly as scary as you may think (unless you initially hook up the solenoids wrong, and have a mini heartattack in the 11th hour wondering what you are going to do now that everything has gone sour... of course that was a simplistic fix). I would encourage anyone to do the change. It just feels so good. Anyhow here's a few other pics from Cariboo Fest. Sorry there are not to many so far, I was burried under the vehicle doing some plumbing. It also was cool that out of five delica's that were present, three were WVO converted (well three by the end of the meet were converted... two prior to the meet).

The WVO install... a few of us humming and hawing...
