Hello folks. I'm a Daily News reporter and I'm interested in doing a story about Deli ownership -- what kind of people drive them and why? Isn't it dangerous driving on a right-hand drive? Are they expensive? Where do they usually come from?
Who's interested in sharing their experiences with me? I'd love to do a full feature complete with photos of a proud owner or owners with their Deli.
I'm looking for Nanaimo area people. I know you exist -- I've seen you driving on the highway numerous times.
Please contact me during the day:

Re: Delis in the news
Darrell,
I highly recommend posting this on http://www.ivoac.ca.
There are JDM owner's that have been and currently are connected to the media both on the mainland and island that can answer all of your questions with zero bias.
Getting one individual's responses may differ from the majority and can paint a positive or negative image on JDM's across Canada. It has gone both ways in the past media relations.
As an example, it's possible you may interview one person who loves their Delica but feels it is very different to drive and at times can be dangerous. Given those words and taken out of context in any media form can have a devastating impact across Canada to all JDM owners.
IVOAC is the best place to voice or connect to certain owners who have a lot of pull in the JDM area.
Look forward to reading your story and thank you for showing interest.
Positive media portrayal is always a good thing.

If you want to talk with a Victorian, I'd be willing to consider. PM me with your intent (read: questions) and I'll give you an answer. Also, I'll only talk about my own van and experiences.
