The bike race for Sunday has been cancelled due to poor trail conditions and even worse weather forecast. Which means I have even more time on Saturday, although it does mean no camping out overnight.

Calgaryhhr, depending on the age of your child (i.e., needing baby seat and tether), s/he is welcome to come out onto the trails too.

Looking forward to it, and it appears that I'll be testing my tires performance in mud :-D

See you at 10:00, Co-op on Richmond Road.

Hey guys!!!

We were driving on the hwy 8, towards Calgary and met about 6-7 Delicas driving towards Brag Creek... was that you guys? If it was... dam... we almost turned around, but had to go to the city to get a few things for our camper (two deep cycle batteries and other stuff). Was it fun? Hope to see some photos!

Maybe next time!

Yup, that was us. I kept looking in the mirror to see if you would hit the brakes. Next time.

A great time was had by all. Hopefully in the next day or two, there will be photos posted in Member Trips, with a link from here.

Yes!... was wondering if/hoping you would pull a Dukes of Hazard 180 and tag along. I think we are all enthusiastic about making a regular thing of it... had a blast!

If it is not already done today, I will start a thread this evening and post pics. Would be great if we could all share because we can't take pics of ourselves when driving especially on a few of the trails...

Question of the day was... "And whyyyyyy did we turn down this road?"
Atire of the day was... flip flops.
Brave face of the day was... White Mule.

A few other "of the day" awards coming but I will wait to post pics... stay tuned!

I think it was appropriate that a muddy Wild Rose cluster was jammed into my bent "Alberta" front plate. Somehow fitting.

Madmazda did a good job at clearing out any standing water and made Alberta a dryer place.

Delica27 demonstrated that a challenging track is no match for flip flops.

JungleJon was calm and cool through and through. Member 69 (Good number).

Jaggedfish tried to help a Mule. ON HIS KNEES!

Erubus took us high. Then lead us down a muddy gauntlet of imprisonment.

Damn that was a great day!
Thanks,

White Mule

I'm not available that weekend (15-17 Oct), and probably not the 29-31st, but I am the other weekends. It would be cool to go out in Halloween costume, though. Hmm.

Was just thinking about when the next date should be. Will likely be out of town for the long weekend but otherwise flexible so far. Can't wait! 8-)
