Power Folding Mirror Fix

Post by jrrodger »

Folks, not sure if this helps, but this helped me fix my Left Hand Mirror. I saved having to visit the scrap yard and finding a new mirror.

For me it was just gluing on the threaded plastic gear back onto the gear motor so I didn't have to pull off the blue potentiaometer. Funny how a little crazy glue helps....

Excellent posting.

I'm always amused at how some English swap the 'i' and the 'u' about in the word Mitsubishi. And this guy's using a soft 'j' in the name Pajero. I only recognised what he was talking about when I saw the footage of the mirror itself: "Hey, that's what Monty had!"

That worked perfect. Only tricky bit was getting the mirror bracket out from under the front edge of these safari grade rain guards without cracking it (which mine did). Nothing a little more superglue and a Ralliart sticker couldn't fix. Great post. Funny how so many Pajs have the same issue.
