Pajero triple gauge console

Post by FredVenne »

How many of you have the triple gauge console with the Voltage, Oil pressure and compass\Temp?

It was working fine until I unplugged the battery the other day. Now the Temp still works, but the compass has now the quadruple "S" turning around. When I push the "S" button on the right lower side, the "S" then goes clockwise and then an E with 5, 10, 15 and 20 appears and then W and nothing really happens after.

What am I missing here?

To reset or calibrate the compass on the l400's, you push the S button, then drive in a complete circle. Maybe give that a try and see what happens.

Yes you press s and drive in a circle. If that doesn't work my manual says drive backwards hard over right forwards hard over left backwards hard over right forwards hard over left... completeing a + basically. That or the circle will calibrate depending upon which model you have.
