testing my turbo
Can anyone tell me how to know if my turbo is working or not aside from listening for it winding up. My fuel consumption has gone way up and I have a loud ticking noise when the engine is under load. I know it's a weird question but how can I tell for sure if it's my turbo. I've heard that the van will still drive without it working. Just trying to rule out possible culprits. Thanks

Re: testing my turbo
When the turbo isn't working it will feel flat, way more underpowered and she'll blow clouds of black smoke cause's it's not getting enough air.
