Exhaust fumes in the van

I converted my L300 into a camper.
The problem is after driving it the inside of the van smells like exhaust fumes.
I replaced the door seals on the back and sides. The only thing I can think of its the seal under the passenger seat to the engine bay but those rubber seals looks fine.
Any ideas?

never had issues like that with my L300. OK thats no help now

I have seen a recent Wheeler Dealers episode, when they tried to find out where rainwater was coming into an Aston Martin DB 7. The final and very clever method for finding that leak was to place a smoke machine inside and to have a look where smoke came out of the car. Maybe worth a try?

Even with new seals it still can be that the doors need to be adjusted properly for a tight fit.

Also, there is a forced vent in the rear hatch, where the number plate recess is. Did you change anything under the car or behind it? Side pipe? Added a trailer hitch? Spare wheel carrier?
Maybe the airflow was altered so the fumes are sucked into the vent?

One last place fumes can come inside is the rear air conditioner, if the case is damaged or missing. But as others say, fix the exhaust pipe first.
