Yup, I'm actually more worried about noise coming from the wheel wells at that back.almac wrote:i hope you plan on using some kind of 'sound deadener product' inside the delica, otherwise you may develop hearing damage.

BLOODY F@CKING HELL!!!!!! THIS IS A SICK THREAD!!!!
couldn't help but notice the amount of time between last post, I definitely got sucked into reading this entire thread in one sitting, you sire are an inspiration for the rest of us. I am really glad to see that a 350 fits nicely under the seats with little modifications, that is the only thing I hate about the donkey express, the gutless 4dt56 engine...especially after finding out my turbo is pooched. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE post more progress reports w/lots of pictures!!!! I will get a haircut, pull up my socks, volunteer at a soup kitchen whatever it takes.....cant start a project as epic and indepth as yours and not show it completed!!!!

L300 Stretch updates
I used to see it parked at King George Airpark and driving around in South Surrey every so often. I haven't seen it a couple of years though.

Re: L300 Stretch updates
Hi ya'll,
So, what's happened to stretch you ask. Well between a very expensive divorce and losing the Airport lease, (thus my home and income) Stretch has been parked. I had gotten the LT 2 (450 hp) engine installed and put the SAS up front. But alas the money has run out. As soon as funds become available I will finish her. This is the last picture of her coming back from the SAS, and a few of the engine install. She will require a few more inches of lift to make it all work.

Good to see your still at it Arnold. It sounds like a lot has changed over the 10 years you've been working on it. You are patient and persistent to keep on. We're cheering for you to complete it.

Re: L300 Stretch updates
Sad to read that life got in the way of this build. It's cool that you still have it, though. I look forward to the video of it driving around someday.Super Exceeded wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 7:35 pm Hi ya'll,

We should have a Delica Meet when this beast is finished. it's been too long since the last one. Bring your Delica if you still have one.
