Is this the transmission mount?

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Hey,
Just too add 2 cents here (mararmeisto) , you can buy those ramps at Can Tire. Also they are more skookum ones made out of solid rubber. I have the metal ones and they have served me well over the years depite being hoaky looking and sometimes a 2-person job to get the vehicle up on them. Another person to line them up straight and yell "Whoa F" when you crest up on to them, then you put it in neutral take the brakes off slowly and let the vehicle seat nicely in the ramps. Also using axle stands as secondaries is a good safe practice, you don't have to bear weight on em just extend them up so they make contact with the vehcle in a spot that would be helpful if one of the ramps khaks out on you.

Profister, really nice pics of the process, nicely illusrates how before you remove a mount it looks like maybe its a bit F'erd and then upon removal and closer inspection its totally F'erd.

This is a very common theme with engine mounts and often exhaust too. Its never really a mistake to replace mounts even if its not as cracked as the one pictured there they just get pooched from age.

Cleaning off the threads really well too and some Wd-40 can help for stubborn mount bolts a bit off heat can help but careful around the rubber. A sheared mount bolt can be a bloody nightmare!

Probably a good post import part to replace, not to make trouble for guys like Amazing and Maximum who are have increasingly impressive change out lists as they come in.
Right on
