Hi all! I searched and I searched and here's a new 'leaking injector' thread. My #4 injector (rear) is leaking. It appears to be leaking at/around the return tube/nut area.
* Replaced the injector with a known good one. New washers. still leaks.
* Tightened all to torque.
* Replaced fuel return pipe and new return washers. still leaks.
I will likely need to pull the injector again, but all these washers, every time. lol... I have another van and can pull pipe. Do the mating surfaces of the injector pipes get buggered?
Anyone else have and fix a fiddly injector leak? It leaks a fair bit, even after a completely new set of washers and 'used' injector from the other van.
Cheers for the feeback.

Re: Leaking Injector - persistent and stubborn
Well, that was interesting. Just in case the 71 ppl that checked out this post are wondering, it was the fuel pipe!! Crazy. The pipe from the injector to the pump much have been grooved and wasn't seating right, no matter how many times I tried. I have another motor awaiting a rebuild and voila, no more pissing diesel all over the road. :)
Hope that helps someone down the road. Cheers.
