Re: Time to change Timing Belt
Timing belt + tensioner
Balancer belt + tensioner
Look closely at drive pulley on crank
The better shops know this and will tell you whats needed as well.

Re: Time to change Timing Belt
Thanks....The shop I am dealing with are great but they have never worked on a Delica before other than doing an oil change on mine and taking a look the engine. Very limited as to who can service this as it took me 3 weeks just find these guys that deal with imports to take it on.Modsqwad wrote:Timing belt + tensioner

Re: Time to change Timing Belt
Contact CVI, CCAutos, EnviroImports via this website (they can send parts too), there's a few other things you might want to have done while you are in there, like replacing the water pump. The labour to open everything back up to replace it later if it blows (you'll know when that happens, you go out to your van in the morning and a huge amount of coolant will be on the ground.) is pretty huge, whereas you're already paying that labour to have the belts done anyhow.
PS: If you edit your Delica.ca profile to include your location (just your city+province), you often get a lot more helpful information from Deli owners who live nearby.

Re: Time to change Timing Belt
It`s is also time for me to change the timing belt.
I am having a heck of a time finding the Dayco timing belt kit KTBA080 as listed in previous threads. Dayco in Canada say it`s an invalid part number and they don`t list Delica. Anyone had that issue...

Recommend you contact Rocky Mountain Imports for parts, as they can get you the proper Mitsubishi parts. The D55 motor available here was different, and the D56 wasn't sold here, so it's going to be difficult for a NA parts supplier to source (if at all). Your profile indicates a 1993 model, which means you're going to want the second timing belt from Dec 1992-onward.georgeofthejungle wrote:It`s is also time for me to change the timing belt.
