Last summer on the first day of a 8000km road trip I blew the motor in my L300 on the upper levels highway coming out of Horseshoe bay, headed for summer Phish tour, California, Colorado Rockies and points in between. I have never been to CVI, never bought a part from CVI, never had a repair at CVI, never talked to CVI on the phone. I had my van towed there where it was declared dead. Butch opened up his heart to me, a complete stranger, and FRONTED me this 1994 L400 LWB so that I could carry on with my plans, stay at campgrounds and hotels I had reserved, go to concerts I hat tickets for, carry the passengers that were depending on me... He said, "Take this L400 and pay me later!!"
I am a regular customer of Coombs Country Auto, all my imports and daily drivers go there for compliance, repair, and maintenance. Butch does not know me, yet he trusted me!
I got the motor in my L300 replaced and in the meantime had some loose ends taken care of on the L400 so I could sell it. Months have passed and Butch has not pressured me at all to pay him. I told him I had to shell out a few bucks to get this L400 improved to a condition where I felt comfortable reselling it, then he agreed to lower his price!
This is clearly a man who puts people first, and profits later. Thanks Butch!!

Butch and CVI may have the biggest hearts.
