So, Wet Coast or Konnichiwa, or Reality Check.... this is quite an accusation. Your evidence is a Japanese auction sheet? Please explain in more detailed English.

How is this a write-off?

Whoever you are, trolling is not a good introduction.

I bought my 2nd Pajero as an 'R' and the $35 plastic corner cap on the rear bumper was replaced.

Until you see the vehicle in person, have an inspector go over it with a fine tooth comb, nobody, I mean NOBODY has the right to assume and put out accusations.

It doesn't matter which dealer or private seller that it.

Accusations and assumptions inside someone else's for sale thread is very rude and poor forum etiquette.

Someone delete this troll and get his IP address. I wouldn't be surprised if he/she is one of the 'usual suspects'.

Better yet. As a moderator, I would clean up this and the other threads unless we want another episode like we had a few weeks ago.

It would be prudent for you to check out the 'auction sheet' discussion that has been going on for the past few weeks and move your posts there.

Auction sheets lie. Grades 1-5/R status can be misrepresented.

Because of this, until the importer has the vehicle assessed and inspected, nobody can give a factual status on a vehicle coming from any country period.

We (fellow delica.ca members) went through quite the mud slinging episode which lasted a few weeks. It's finally over until these few posts by you (new member).

This is a sale thread. Not a discussion thread.

I replied to your PM as I prefer to discuss outside of sale threads.

R: can mean any sort of accident big or small and has nothing to do with insurance write off. if someone has told you R is insurance write off they are totally wrong.

While I agree with the others that it's inappropriate to hijack the sellers FS thread. ( Guessing that you "reality check" are a dealer yourself and trying to discredit another dealer... ? ) It may be a good question to ask the dealer elsewhere ?

The van was graded a R which means it had some kind of accident history. In this case, probably no huge deal ( looks like the rear door and some surrounding panels were replaced ). However Mardy are you telling your buyers about this if they don't ask ?

If the mods think this post is inappropriate, my apologies in advance and feel free to edit.

Sounds like someone with access to IP address figured out the holy trinity... 3 different names for the same person? That's a better accusation to entertain than R status!

Is it not true, correct me if I am wrong, but even if a vehicle gets a new paint job with no accidents whatsoever it is also classified as an R at auction............Kirk out.

Let's keep the posts in the appropriate forum...

When making accusations about the competition (or anyone for that matter), you must take ownership of your words and be able to back them up. Otherwise you will viewed as abusing the forum and will be removed. Choose your words wisely.
My apologies for the strong words, fellow delioids but this is going sideways and must be resolved.

Konnichiwa, Wet Coast & Reality Check (1&2) have been using the same IPs with and without a suspected network sharing device.

Why doesn't someone wait until Mardy reponds ? Could be an error or something like that. I would not point fingers or take the other side either until you have heard the other side of the story.

I know that this forum will never be like any the 'others' where arguing takes precedence over sharing idea's, thoughts and information.

There are too many well-intentioned members who love coming here and sharing everything delica-related and other things.

Hi, William and realitycheck:
if you have any questions about my Spacegear for sale, pls call me.
as for this units, a small area of the bumper was been re-painted. This is not accident vehicle like you are saying just a cosmetic one.
Jfarsang is right that in Japan Seller of vehicle fills out the auction sheet and put in anything they like.
Auction house inspector reviews the van & makes changes on auction sheet if it need to.
Just because there is a grade does not make it that grade.
once my inspector in japan recieves the spacegear, he does goes over it. once it is shipped here, i go over & then a certified inspector goes over it.
If there is anything wrong with it and is not satisfying to the customer, i do not sell it.
in the future pls call me or make appointment to see if you would like to talk about importing or condition of the vehicle. i have been dealing importing cars from japan for more than 28 year way back when i was in the Phils.
so this is not new to me.
Thank you,
Mardy
