Power steering leak

Hello. I'm new here.
I have a power steering leak and it seems to be really hard to get at. The leak is in the part of the line that runs in front of the rad. I tried to patch it, but, I made it worse. It's been suggested to bypass this part of the line and put in a universal cooler. Where to disconnect the lines and add the cooler? Should I do this? How do I access the area to work on it? I'm amazed at how complicated the steering system is.
