Roof Rust

Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

Roof Rust

Post by negativentropy »

I regret letting this go on for so long - but that aside - what am I going to find under this rust if I start grinding. Am I opening a can of worms? I suspect it has to do with components related to the moonroof?

Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

If it was an L300 I would suggest taking out the roof liner to see how much rust you really have. They rust from the inside out and if that is the case for your L400 your in for some major effort to get rid of the problem. Good luck - this is the first I've heard of anyone with this problem on an L400.
