Short Notice - Need a Delica or two Sat Morning

Some of you know me from IVOAC - I need a Delica or two at 10:00 am tomorrow morning just off United Blvd in Coquitlam.
The Province newspaper is interviewing some RHD owners and taking a few pics.
Hopefully maybe somebody with WVO can come out?

They're just doing a story about RHD's and I want a good cross section of different vehicles and owners.
marsgal42 is confirmed to come.
I'm really looking for Kei cars too if anyone has one or knows anybody - we have a Figaro coming already......

I have talked to a lot of voice mails. Unfortunately I was otherwise engaged at the time this was posted, and yes it was very short notice. I am glad you got someone. I have promised someone my full and undivided attention today, so I will not be able to make this one. We need to have a plan regarding these things, otherwise we are unprepared when we march into the proverbial fray, which usually leads to slaughter. For one, United Blvd is a long road, and a big place, where is this meet? What angle is the Province coming from in this interview?

We ended up with a Figaro, a Skyline, an Impreza and a Delica.
Watch the Province either Sunday or Monday.

Yikes. Looks like the reporter started with an agenda, laid down the bait, and then bushwacked you. All in the interest of unbaised reporting, not.

I am in the process of inviting Laura as a committee member on IVOAC. ICBC is up to something dirty here and I can't help but feel that it's coordinated with what is going on in Quebec.
I would like to see a public protest at ICBC prior to the election - the media will not be able to ignore that and politicians will be obliged to comment on our allegations.
Laura will keep you guys posted if she accepts my invitation.

So why exactly should we have met this "reporter"? What a piece of useless story...
Am I the only one who thinks it's time for a RHD demonstration/big meet with banners etc in front of ICBC, government buildings?
We need to be more active about that subject...

Perhaps it's time to open a new forum dedicated to "Delica Canada Political/Legal", which I might add are two different topics. I just want to drive my Delica ~ it is a love of mine that I have put a lot into and now there are people that want to take this joy of mine away from me. As I stated earlier, there are two legal system bases operating in Canada: "Civil Law", which is in Quebec; and "Common Law" which is the rest of Canada. The common law system, which is based on precedence, from what I understand requires a precedence to be set in order to establish a legal situation. I see this as where the politics comes into the picture. I don't know a lot about law but I think we ought to be learning as much as we can to understand where we stand and approach this topic in a sensible logical manner, without getting too excited and flying off the handle.

Probably no connexion: I did a little shopping; when I got back to my van the driver's side mirror was twisted out. I felt like twisting every LHD wing mirror out in the vicinity, but I didn't. I don't think they thought about loosening the clamps when they did it ~ but I have to say, the first thing I thought of was this article in the Province.
Anyone else experiencing stuff like this?

Not me. I am driving my SX4 now and hiding Delica until I know where we stand with the CADA lobby...
