So, somehow, solely based upon the position of the steering wheel on the right-side of the cabin instead of the left-side, these JDMs are 'dirtier' than similarly-aged LHDs? Could you explain the science behind this positionally dependent environmental juxtaposition?
And yes, the JDMs ARE faster than the NAMPOS, which was the underlying reason for the import restrictions beginning in 1970: the Big Three could not compete against the sports cars coming out of Europe (and later Japan), so they successfully lobbied the government for a bailout. Why build better cars when it was much easier to just keep them out of the market?
