Lift Kit wanted....

Post by Deli-East »

Hi,

I am interested in purchasing a suspension lift kit for my 1994 L400 Spacegear, SWB, Diesel.
A Canadian vendor would be preferable but not essential.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Jim

Thank you I did explore this thread.
I have tried to contact Jessse without any success.
I could try to contact CVI but apparently they are quite expensive on this item?
Not sure about this so I guess I should find out first hand?

Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

Hey Jim,

I'm in the Process of getting mine lifted from CVI. Cost is $1500 plus tax all included which isn't that bad.

Tried as hard as i can to contact Jesse on all possible routes and no luck.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for the message Alex.
Am I hearing that is $1,500 installed or all the materials cost $1,500?

Thanks again,
Jim

Thank you for chiming in. Much appreciated.
It is a challenge on the East Coast to source materials specific to my vehicle.
There are a few suppliers in BC and they have been quite good at shipping parts to me.
This one I am struggling with.

I sent you an email with my request but here it is again incase......

Hi Jesse,

Thank you for the heads up on your delica.ca forum email issues.

I am interested in lifting my 1994 L400 Spacegear TD SWB.

I spent some time poking around on the delica.ca forum and your kit sounds like the only way to go.

I live outside of Halifax and have a very good mechanic/wheeling friend with plenty of the skills and equipment to help with this installation.

Can I purchase the required kit from you?

I will take your advise but I was hoping for a lift in the 2"-4" range.

Thank you for any assistance you might have.

Regards,

Jim Newell

1500 is a good price for Jesse's kit installed, I paid around 1700.

Emails replied to. Cheers guys.

Different kind of 'backcountry' you guys are thinking about. Went up the west side of Thar mountain and down the north face. 1st people down. Was epic although high avy rating and thick sluff slabs were apparent. Gorgeous weather no matter where you were.
