Cold Lake, Alberta!

Post by RadarGrrl »

Looks like I'm posted. I'm really hoping I'm not going to have to let my beloved L400 go, but unless I can find a decent JDM mechanic in reasonable distance from Cold Lake, Alberta, this is a very real possibility. Does anyone have any idea of there might be a mechanic in that area who will be able to do maintenance and repair on Delis?

Bernier's Diesel & Auto Repair & Performance Ltd should be able to work on your Delica without issue. But I don't know them, or how good they are.

Try giving them a call?

In general, a good Diesel mechanic should be able to work in a Delica without issue.

RG Must be a shock living in CL after being on the island for a while. Good luck with your delica maintenance.

Posting came out of nowhere. I had planned to retire in a couple of years. So we put it off and pad the pension.

What about JDM garages in or near Edmonton?

Another good source for the Alberta members that I can vouch for is http://firstgeartrade.com/

Honest, professional work, and not scared to work on anything Japanese. Leo is the contact and can get parts locally or from Japan. Great to see more sources coming up for the Alberta members :M

Hope it helps some of the members.

Should have updated this a while back. I did not wind up being posted to Cold Lake, and I'm staying right here in Vancouver Island.
