First off, thanks everyone for the recent Delica oriented camping pictures!!! :-D :-D

We have some camping gear here, but being the rainy season and with 150 to 300 Baht ($5 to $10) accomadation can't be bothered - as we don't have a Delica to haul it all around in.

Coaxial a V-storm would be pretty nice to tour around here with; think you can put your written off one in the mail? They can fix everything here. :-D

Cheers

Hello

Well it's been a year, a year without a single Delica.ca member visiting!

Been a busy year, I went back to the work force, the company changed priorities and now I'm back to being a unemployed bum. That cooks Mexican food on the side.

The country side is still fabulous and I wanted to share a friends travel report in the surrounding area, his pictures are just fantastic. He's photography is not commerical and I've asked, he his open to have it shared - which is the number one reason he does this great work!

Fishing pictures to come, the rivers should be ready in just a few weeks - I can't wait.

Best Regards,
Kevin

Absolutely! Loved bombing around the back roads of the far NW... looking forward to doing more if it in a few months.

Noooo!!

Roads like the #1249 road Blackberry has in the first picture belongs to the motorbike for soooooo many reason. The reason I say that is the last time I drove by that sign was with a bunch of boy scouts in the truck headed to a camp out - and in those tight mountain corners it's pure pleasure on a motorbike, it's WORK and nausea inducing driving the truck safely. You don't need a van here, and at first I wanted one here, but the weather is just too comfortable all year round.

Blackberry drop me a note next time you land in Chiang Mai, if you don't mind Mexican food or a riding partner for a day or 2.

I can't place your second picture. Is it the road to the To Ban microwave, my first guess, off the 108 just south of Mae Hong Son? Or is it in the Chiang Dao national park?

FYI, just today a friend rode that area around Fang, the report is here - http://www.captainslash.com/fang-wiang- ... thai_fang/

HI.

Cool wagons spotted this last couple of weeks in Chiang Mai, my fav being the old Toyota station wagon that spends every day in the same spot at a small, very old wat in the center of the old city. What appears unusual about this car, in this land of cheap body work, is its wavy panels indicating it's exterior is not 90 % bondo. Really dig this wagon.

Hope you find these interesting!

Peace

Wicked paint scheme on the RalliArt Delica - now I've got another idea to choose from for my ride.

These job prospects you mentioned, are they back on this continent or still on that side of the Pacific?

Well I have been working on this side managing a couple of offices for a company this year, but honestly still looking for something in my field for a good salary.

Thought the L200 would generate some interest too. My son and I had a ride in the back of one, and those large windows give you quiet the open feeling. They were asking $15,600 Cdn for that high mileage Delica!

Well.

Returning to Canada tomorrow!

With my camping and fishing needs, can't wait to be in the Delica market again. Yep, honestly can't see me driving anything else.

Wonderfully I have been offered this car I imported as a gift for my mother before leaving Canada. I will get me by. So if you see this on the road the driver will be giving Delica's the wave!

Miguel's is still open and Delica.ca visitors are most welcome!

See you on the otherside

Might drop by Chiang Dao area around the new year if you're back in that area then I'd be happy to pop by.
