Post by Super Exceeded »

Just had the Susuki Jeepny delivered. I have heard that the Japanese tires are now ok and do not need to be changed. Has anybody heard anything about this???

Evens they're now "allowed" they should probably be changes due to warping and cracking.

Your tires need a load rating or a DOT stamp on the sidewall or they are a no-go, is the last I heard. Since those tires are from Japan, there won't be a DOT stamp, but make sure there is a load rating written on the sidewall.

My Van came with DOT tires from Japan, it isn't a definite that the tires are not allowed on our road. I would look before you toss them out.
