Mid island co-op due to the number of them, the rebate cheques and the discount on pre paid gas

Re: Where and why?
i dont usually by diesel, but when i do...
im running WVO. 50L of diesel lasts me a long time, average about 4000km between diesel fills (not counting road trips, where the kms go way up)
i fill diesel at the only independent local filling station in my town. they only have full serve. its nice to keep my hands clean on those rare trips to town...

Cleanliness is next to godliness! Any particular kind of diesel? Shell, esso etc because it runs better?

Re: Where and why?
There are only a few refineries that make diesel in Alberta and most of it comes from the Edmonton Suncor Refinery (old Petrocanada).
Superstore Fuel stations offer 3cents back per litre on all fuel purchases for use in the main store. I get a voucher worth 2.00 or more on every fill and I have seen no difference in fuel usage when I use other sources like Shell, Esso or the PetroCan so most of my fills are at the S.S.
I just make sure the fuel additive is put in at each fill regardless of where I refuel.

Re: Where and why?
I hate to say it, but I found I got better mileage with Chevron than with Superstore. Smoked a little less too.

Diesel Max at Mohawk (Husky Mobile), usually. It's convenient, it's good stuff, burns well ~ my girl seems to like it... smiles.

Re: Where and why?
petro cardlock here in yk. all you do is go sign up at the tank farm and the bill comes off your credit card once a month. oh and diesel is sold at bulk fuel pricing so about 1.05 a liter right now. better than 1.36 at the pump!
