I am currently selling an '92 L300 with $6500 worth mechanic estimated work to be done on it. (New transmission and a cracked cylinder head). The van still runs and drives just fine aside from the fact that my overdrive doesn't work so there's only access to 3 gears.
My Question:
I've posted it for $1500 obo but have had a couple people mention I should ask more for it. What are peoples thoughts? Is this vehicle worth a higher price? I am told because it still runs and drives I can ask more for it.
p.s. I am only selling it because i can't afford to fix it up.

L300 sale price inquiry
Have you sold it yet? Are you getting lots of inquiries? That would indicate your price is too low.

Re: L300 sale price inquiry
What price did you end up selling it for?
I'm in a similar position: '94 L300 P25, not running. Might need head replaced, $3200. Perhaps it's best to sell it "as is" to someone who wants to fix it and drive it. Was running great until it suddenly started leaking and smoking. What should I ask for it? Lots of new parts and niceties.
Thanks,
- Morgan
