Hey Guys, I did something cool that might help out the community over the weekend, and wired in my stereo the long way, one cable at a time. ANyways, I figured out what all the colours are for future reference. This is for a **1992 L300 Chamonix**. I got another diagram someone else posted and no luck, I guess the wire colours change around quite a bit among models? or years? Anyways, hopefully this info helps a fellow music lover!
The cables will be primarily the first colour with either a strip or rings of the second color. In my deli all the wires have little red bits on em, just take a good look at all the different cables and look for what they all have the same and then disregard that bit!
For Final Clarification, if i say eg White/Blue, White will be the main colour and blue the secondary.
My Mitsubishi:
Batter/Power = Red/Black
Ground = Black/Red
Ignition = Blue/White
Speaker R Frnt = White/Blue+
Black/Blue -
Speaker L Frnt = White/Red+
Black/Red-
Speaker R Rear = Yellow/Red+
Gray/Red-
Speaker L Rear = Yellow/Blue+
Gray/Blue-
Thats all it took for me to be rocking all systems go! Hopefully it helps get some of youse rocking too!
