For sure, but only if you have traction ;-) Actually thats not strictly true as even a spinning wheel has some traction, but every time here in the sunny UK we have any water below zero degrees you will see 4x4s that are fashion accessories unable to climb slight inclines because they are on summer road tyres with no siping.

Here is my last km short-cut drive from work to home daily . I can by-pass the highway completely and take on a logging road instead.

There was Chemical Brothers.
The road was hard packed snow. I try to avoid the highway because of flying rocks in the winter.
