LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL
Could someoone help me with a picture of a slip differential on my L300 Delica?

A picture of the diff won't help. Look for an orange sticker on the drivers side door as an indicator and lift the rear and rotate wheels to find out for sure if yours is LSD or not.yvanoe wrote:Could someoone help me with a picture of a slip differential on my L300 Delica?

Also, the fill plug may have "LSD oil only" on it in white. Non LSD diffs have a plain steel plug.
The LSD diff fitted to a Chamonix I dismantled had extra brackets at the wheel ends- these brackets have rubber buffers on and press against the springs to prevent axle tramp. Don't know if they're unique to LSD or Camonix or just a funky option, but they sure come in handy!

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
