Your decision to get a Royal was a good one. The price difference is not that much but the difference in features is well worth it. I guess it depends on what you want it for. The more options the heavier the car although the torque of the 4m40 doesn't seem to matter. My LWB Super that my wife used was almost as quick as my Jasper. I purposely got the last of the Series 1 Jaspers with 4x4ing in mind. I wanted ABS and Airbag but didn't want the Sunroofs. This is the 2 of them. Notice how much higher the Jasper is just buy moding the guards and fitting 265s.

I sold the LWB for $11,500 about 12 months ago after I bought my wife a rex to keep her out of mine :-D .. Cheers
