Excuse my ignorance, but which delica has the 4m40, and which heater would that be? I talked to sahir at maximum overdrive, and he was happy to give me a part number that lordco had in stock. First I'd like to confirm that it is in fact a 35mm plug and that I install it on the right side (from drivers perspective) and that it's the plug at the rear of the engine. Also, since I have never installed a block heater, are there any tips specific to this motor that would make my life, and the pajeros life easier.

Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure the block heater I installed on my 4M40 in the l400 was a 40mm frost plug.

Ummm, the 4M40 in the zerostart catalogue is listed for the Mitsu Fuso, not the Delica.

You'd better make absolutely positively sure of which frost plug and what part number heater, because once that frost plug is out, you are committed.

4M40 is in fact the L400 engine.
