id like to bring the pooch. Just because she likes to be with me. Staying in the van isn't much fun for her though. I'm good for wherever.

Looked out the window and its raining again (not nearly as hard as last Sunday though!)

Assuming some people are planning to show up, my plan is to pop down to Ambleside around 2:30 after "nap time" (assuming this is the location - Brett had suggested Cates, and thats fine for me too)!

Notwithstanding today's rain, I headed over to Ambleside (with 1-year-old son) around 2:30ish, and had a great chat with Mardy and Coaxial (both sporting their fine-looking Delicas!) Had to cut it short due to the rain though (the little guy was getting abit wet)...

While driving back along Marine Drive at 3:15ish, saw another Blue lifted deli stopped at Taylor Way intersection (complete with mitsu-maple windshield decal). Whoever you are, I hope you caught up with the other two!

that would have been me.... I didn't see anyone. Headed to black bear too, nothing. Oh well. It was a nice drive with my puppy anyways.

Sorry Adrock -- you probably missed the other two by not more than 30 seconds...

From our experience this weekend and last, I think that when we organize any type of function should designate a contact person with a cell #. The designated person would keep a "real-time" list of who's coming and who's not, etc. (particularly on those iffy-whether days like yesterday).

As far as fall function goes, Brett had suggested to me (a few months ago) having a BBQ branded "DeliFeast 2007" (as a followup to DeliFest 2007). In retrospect, this probably ought to have happened before the Winter Monsoons arrived. However, this could still be a doable option (maybe in conjunction with Erik's suggestion of a December Toy Run?)
