If we are talking SUnday late afternoon/dinner time, that would work for me. I am in Whistler biking Saturday, (maybe friday if I want to dirtbag it in the deli for the night), and have some trail work to do on Sunday morning/early afternoon and will already be in North Van.

hey hey all wow lots of interest. Here is what I was thinking if it works for everybody. Sunday sept 30th meet at ambelside at around noon or later for a little show and shine/meet and great and then I like the idea of a little caravan to a pub or short 4X4 mission
if this works for everybody lets make it happen, ambelside has lots of parking and if anyone wants to bring the kiddies there is lots of place for them to play
Brett Love the idea of a monthly meet on the shore last tuesday of the month at the black bear sound perfect

Are Honda vans permitted next Sunday? (I STILL haven't found my Delica). Ambleside sounds like a great plan as it has swing sets, etc. for the kids.

Ok...so to summarize, it seems this coming Sunday Sep 30 is the most commonly mentioned date.
The most commonly mentioned locale is Ambleside or the Black Bear (Lynn Valley)
The most commonly mentioned time is PM (Various PM).
I'm clearing my calendar for the later PM and will hook up wherever everyone ends up...can't make the early PM part.....kids can't live in my Deli, so have to fix my house instead....

Will get there somehow for some portion just the same.
Oh, and hopefully everyone will have the time to send a letter to the following person explaining how wonderful you're vehicle is and how much safer it is compared to the other 15 year old junk piles there are on the road and how conspiracies to deny the taxpayer of what they want (dare I say need?) is political suicide..ok, maybe a little dramatic, but a letter / email would be good from everyone just the same! If you didn't know, there is a very high likelihood that Transport Canada will submit to pressures from corporate canada (and possibly one or more very powerful individuals, one of which likes to wear very odd clothes like bow ties etc) - and change the rules to only allow vehicles 25 years and older into Canada. If you think you won't be effected since you already own a deli, think about the part supply chain, this bulletin board, and all the other interesting and useful vehicles that Canadians will be excluded from buying simply because some some dealer isn't getting his (or her) piece of the action. Ok, enough of the soap box....details are;

Howdy all,
So Coaxial! I just looked in the Members Trips and Photos section and didn't see anything about Harrison East Side. How was your trip? Did you learn anything about the Kookipi road?
I won't be able to make it Sunday. I have a very tight renovation schedule and I have a contractor who is working cheap on weekends. No really! Cheap and on weekends. Honest.
This being the last Tuesday of this month, is anyone still interested in a brief stop at the Black Bear tonight? Quite early, like 4:30 would work for me. That or a little later like around 8:00 p.m. after some of the house martins are in bed. My plan is to tell the missus that I must attend a meeting of the Delica Owners Regional Comity, ( D.O.R.C.s), She will no doubt agree that its an association to which I naturally belong and happily send me on my way.
Anyone else available?

I'll be there
I'll probably have some friends/delica enthusiasts with me (most people that ride in my van automatically become delica enthusiasts).
If we wanted to get the cobwebs out of our 4x4 differentials that little offroading spot is right next to ambleside. With a few delicas and towstraps around we could even safely tackle some of the really mucky stuff in there if people were into that sort of thing.
Then we head up to black bear or whatever at some point?
Who else is coming? I want to see lots of vans lined up

My wheeling days ended when I sold my Unimog and I am busy with some mountain bike trail work for the morning and early afternoon but if there is some itinerary for around 3-4 pm, I would be interested in meeting up.
And what/where is black bear?

Delicas are indeed not unimogs

so I think this is mostly just meet and show & tell.
Black bear is a pub, haven't been but I hear it is good.
