The first Delica I saw had the spare mounted on the front bullbars, seems like a good place for it.

has any one gone greasecar? they look pretty good and have a system that runs in "any climate", i need to find a kit that will work in cold weather as ill be prince georgen it next year

I just got off the phone with ED from Plantdrive in Salmon Arm. Their kit has a cold weather "Hotfox" option. Also of interest, he told me he has "another" Delica coming in in a couple of weeks and that he plans to use the opportunity to design a wvo tank which he wants to mount under the bus, just behind the passenger seat, with a possible filler under the hood. He is hoping to have such a tank available as part of a complete Delica conversion kit. Would be nice to have the "where to put the tank (and possibly the spare)" dilemma solved with a ready to bolt in and fill-up tank. Looking forward to following his progress - GO ED!!

Awesome news about the tank! Just this last week got an actual idea of just how many people are truly interested in a WVO Delica. More then I ever knew. I pre-made Delica tank would be a good selling item and would solve one of the biggest problems facing anyone considering a self install. Can't picture where Ed means the tank be fitted though, maybe somewhere like Eric has his?

The company I bought my converters off has an update system available now; don't know what the prices are yet (but someone else here abouts does).

Depends how fancy, cheap, creative, fabricating skilled, sticky fingered, and blinged you are? Basic self install say $1000 - $1500 including all those misc extra tid bits needed at the last moment. Was given a great deal on my first two converters. Every where from well under 400-500 to the part scrounger (tank, 6 way valve, even hose clamps - recycle) to Unimog Enviromog ($$ and drool, drool, a real dream rig there).
