http://www.depo.com.tw/asp/depo_show_qa1.asp?id=34 They do have E-Code RHT L400 lights, plus other lights for the L400, like clear or amber replacent corner lights and other lights. It's a great website, even for L300 owners as it sells after market parts like those clear tail lamps you see on some modified L300's in Japan, or the H4 dual hi/low headlamps you seen on the rebadged Delica's in some areas.

1) Unless things have changed very recently......... you cannot buy direct from Depo unless you order is a minimum of US$10k per order.
2) The Spacegear Lamps shown below on Depo's website are for 1994 - 97 "Series One" but
are not in production which is why it has TBA at the bottom RH corner.
3) The Spacegear lamps shown below which are also taken from Depo's website are for 1997 on "Series Two" model and
will not fit the "Series One"....... been there tried that and even with some rather large modifications they will never look right and out of place.
4) Series One (1994-97) Spacegear LHD Headlamps do exist with the correct E mark, beam pattern and it is my understanding they are
only available as OEM.
Below is a set supplied and fitted for one one of our customers vehicles prior to export to Canada.

DEPO WILL NOT SELL ANY ONE IN NORTH AMERICA AS THEY HAVE AGENT IN USA, YOU HAVE TO GO THOUGH THE DEALER. APPARENTLY DEALER WILL NOT BRING ANY HEADLIGHT FOR DELICA OR SIMILAR JDM'S. SOME LISTING SAYS IT IS FOR E CODE, BUT THEY DON'T' PRODUCE ANYMORE SUCH AS L400.

Hi, dah,
i do understand what you mean but if you think we can relay this wrong message to those people who dont know about the consequences i think its not good for them. the reason that they might void your insurance is that i talk to ICBC, registration officer that if they find out that this inspection report is false & not right compliance inspection report thru any inspection facility it might in danger the other motorist. they are tracking it down now its just a matter of time if they will see that vehicle is non compliance car. my concern is that dont wait until it happen to anybody. be safe.
as per your saying there is headlight from mitsubishi germany for L400. can you give it to us. if there is really have one for L400 from 1994 to 1996. not 1997 up. even from germany. it will be a big help to our delica community if you can provide us. will wait for you to show us the part number , picture & will see. for sure we will appreciate it. as i help & spend time helping other people here in delica community for the past 3 year.
hope you can share this info if that o.k. for you. non only for me but thru our fellow delica owner.
as per depo, they dont have it. i did call them directly. they just have that in the web . but never made only for rhd but without e-code.
hopr this help
Cheers;

Hello from Sask. I got my L400 home and did a fine job of jumping through the hoops here. Solved the light issue by adding a set of snowplow lights. They bolted on my bush bar and have the right codes on them. Cost was $250.00 for the pair. They made me buy new tires as my B.F. Goodrich ground-grips were not coded for Canada. Also had to put a piece of tape over the headlight sensor so I had daytime running lights. $1100.00 later I got a safety sticker and am driving around broke but happy.

So what is the conclusion, has anyone found headlights for the Delica 400? If Mark has found them, why does he not share the info, nothing is that propitiatory, as I am sure others have helped him out. Nobody is trying to take business away from him, in fact most of us here have recommended him to others.

There are two people who are advertising that they have LHD headlights for L400's.Mardy and Brave Auto advertise that there L400's are fitted with D.O.T approved headlights. As there is a shortage of these lights i doubt very much if they are going to give out any infomation that could interupt there vehicle sales as that would not be good buisness sense!
I know that Mark had to do a lot of research and had to purchese a lot of lights before he got to the right part numbers so you can understand his reluctance to give out free infomation!
Until there is a constant supply do not expect to get any info out of these guys as to a source for there lights.
But i could be proved wrong of course!!!!
Over to you Mardy and Mark?
