that's a beautiful lwb will full service too boot! have you guys ever shipped delicas to ontario?
curious what that would cost?

if not, what's the process if someone from ontario flew down there and drove it back?
i bought a jdm from BC a few years ago and we did a temporary registration through icbc and got a 5 day temp licence/insurance (no actual plates, just a piece of paper taped on the window)... enough time for me to drive back to ontario and switch papers to ministry of ontario (had to certify it here and to an emission test, and voila!)

is this still the case out west/icbc?

I shipped my brother's out there in March last year and it was about $1800. Depends if it is less than 7 feet to fit in the rail car or has to go by car hauler. Car hauler was about $400 (so $1800 since he had a lift) more if I remember ($1200 for a celica last month). I used searail, now livingston freight, to ship to him. They have been very helpful and quick (less than 30 days). Hope this helps

i just charge my cost for the rate they give it to me dealer cost. no mark up profit on the shipping to anywhere in canada.

ahh, good to know. thanks Mardi and delidemon! i've heard about searail a few times now. i was expecting aroudn the 1500-2000 range. so, say a $500 one way flight, plus another $500-$700 on fuel/food/lodging (based on 10L/100km and 4500 km trip @ a dollar a litre lets say), and a fun roady once again would be doable, the timing of the year though is not soo good. searail for piece of mind....

lot's of researching to do, l300vsl400, wvo...etc! regardless, i think i'm more comfortable getting one from out there that's been baselined and serviced...

btw, i think i just noticed that this doesn't have the crysallight roof? (says on the website that the shades all work?) but going by the pics, i don't see the small windows.

so is this then a lowroof longwheel base w/no crystallight roof?

understood, my misunderstanding as it's says on the 1st line "....all shades work" me thinking it referred to the shades for crystallight roof (as i've heard that they sometimes don't work in delicas). no worries. thanks!

do you know what l300s and l400s' retailed for when brand new back in the 1990's? my insurance provided needs that figure for a general quote, they couldnt get anything when i gave them a VIN from local delica's i've test driven...
