I spoke to them tonight. Christine said they can't make it as they are boating.

That was a good meet. It was smaller this time, likely because we picked a Saturday evening, however there have been many successful Sunday morning meets, so......
We managed to get Mr. MitsuBC himself to come which, as usual, was very informative. And I gotta say that I am very impressed with Meanman's machine. John, a thought occurred to me as I drove away: Try using an Indian rubber (brownish erasers) to pull that sticky stuff off or even rubber gloves. Meanwhile, I lather down a pair of lobsters with aloe vera ~ zzzzzziiiizzzzz, ew! Fortunately the wine therapy is working.

what sticky stuff? Like left over residue from a decal? Use clear packing tape and dab the glue against sticky stuff, it will pull it off quite neatly without the possibility of damage to paint.

Glad I could make it,nice night for a drive.
Sticky stuff
Mineral spirits ( used it for wet sanding laquer and removing masking tape residue in a previuos life ),gasoline ( same as road tar remover ) and baby oil ( still use that for band aid sticky stuff ). Just make sure you give the area a good wash after.

Somewhere on this site, I vaguely remember a reference to Brake Cleaner. For some reason it stands out in my mind. In fact, here it is: Removing Stickers
